Jim,
My McIntyre 897 Is the best of them all. It sprouted in just about 4
days
!!! I clipped the tip, sanded the edges and erected a plastic "A" frame
over it for a short time. I live in Southern California so I didn't
plant
until the end of June. It's real healthy, big main vine, large leaves,
only
Male flowers at this time but no problem.I know from past experience
with
the weather here my final selection will easily grow at the rate of 5 to
10
pounds per day and be ready for Halloween.
My other plants are from Dill and P&P, They are doing good but I have a
real
good feeling about the McIntyre. I'm using lot's of Chicken Manure and
Miracle Grow.
