Kenny: If you are growing Atlantic Giants and if you have a pumpkin on the vine which is bigger than a volley ball and if it looks healthy and has a good stem and if you are going for size and if you have more than one plant, then you could begin to cut off all the new females but probably not all the males as it is a lot of work with questionable value. If you limit your plant to one pumpkin you are taking the chance of ending up with no pumpkin on that plant. If you have only one plant then you may end up with no pumpkin at all. I would wait until your plant has a pumpkin around 75 pounds before I cut off all the other females. Marv in Altoona PA
