Tom,
	thanks for the introduction... but does anybody need a mad
scientist for hire?  In truth, I *are* an engineer.  Perhaps it was the
bigger-better-faster mentality that drew me to the giant pumpkin sport.

	I'm not the only one working strange projects, though.  I'd say
pumpkinguy is the clear winner on that accord.   Will anyone else admit to
a bizzarrely experimental pumpkin growing scheme?
