Treating cuts and cracks in September
You should not treat your Pumpkins with a Fungicide paste in September, it is
much too toxic to yourself and Pumpkin handlers. Switch to Powered Sulfur,
it is much less toxic and works very well. Some weigh off sights will not
handle a Pumpkin with Fungicide paste on it. Wash your Pumpkin before
bringing it to the weigh off.
