I replied from work earlier this afternoon but I must have miss typed the
address so here it is again. Yes, we get the heat, but not usually as
high as 112F. As of today we are starting to cool down. I see Brock was
hot again also. Today I saw one report that said 108. That's very hot for
them. With the use of misters we can save most of the new leaves and keep
the plant growing all day. Once it gets over say 105 it's all over for
the new leaves on the growing tips. CRISPY CRITTER! I have 6' of vine
with no leaves. Mother Nature terminated those for me. I look forward to
meeting you and as well as all the CA growers in Elk Grove on that first
Saturday in October. Good luck.
