The Prince Edward County Pumpkinfest Committee has just set the prize
schedule for our Pumpkinfest 98 weigh-off and celebration to be held in
Wellington, Ontario on Saturday October 24, 1998.
Largest pumpkin prizes will be $150.00, $75.00, and $50.00 and there
will also be grower's prizes (a draw ) of $100.00, $50.00, $50.00 and
$25.00.
The committee has also decided to open the competition to anyone in the
world.
Over 50 local growers now have pumpkins on the vine ranging from little
ones to some in the 400 pound range. Weather conditions in this part of
Ontario are just perfect and everyone is out to beat Canadian Champion

For a $5.00 entry fee anyone can participate and win regardless of size.
Plan to attend the biggest little weigh-off in Ontario.
