Ah, Christmas Tree. My pumpkin plants are all on the 90 degree principle.
Imagine a, old tv antenna, those aluminum ones that look like the frame of a
kyte, and then Imagine one the size of your plot, then imagine your pumpkin
plant like that frame. You have the main brace, and many side branches coming
at a 90 degree angle to the main brace. Sunlight is much like tv signals in
term of pumpkin growing. Overlapping the aluminum branches does you no good,
nor does overlapping vine and leaves. Keep those plants manicured and
remember, symetry is the key. Scar sits at 297 total inches.
