time left?

Here in Newfoundland we usually get our killer frost near the middle to
last of september, but due to our great weather, maybe it will be
October this year. If my plant produces a female now, will there still
be enough time to grow a medium sized pumpkin? Plants were doing well
untill the insects moved in and slowed things down.There will always be
next year, God willing, and if there is still a summer.
