Yes, You read right, I removed the main root stump and not one leaf died on
the remaining runners. The root systems of the runners from burying the vines
seems to be more than enough to sustain the plant and the pumpkins as well. I
will have to wait and see how it affects the finishing weight of the pumpkin,
but all looks really good so far.
