I can relate. Hail got my 1061, but I still have a medicine-ball sized pumpkin
going but it's hurting! The plant won't give up though, so I've decided that I
won't either. The new vine/leaf growth is outstanding! Breaks my heart to go out
into the patch to see the once magnificent leaves reduced to shattered remnants.
Between the grasshoppers, heat and hail, it's been an interesting year in northern
Wyoming. Sounds as if many of you have had interesting challenges too! At least
I don't have moose or woodchucks rooting around...yet! Don't give up. Janette
