I almost always water at night and have never noticed this on pumpkins, I havc
seen a whitish residue (for lazck of a better name) on zucchini but it did not
affect growth on them in favt I just harvested 3 zucchini averaging 28". Id sure
like to hear if night watering is a mistake. thanks mike in anc
