It's definitely not too late. After raising three Big Max pumpkins to full
size, I have just pollinated three more in the last three days. One of my
pumpkins, the first pollinated, has already grown about 4 inches! I have
names this pumpkin Fat Lady (it ain't over til the fat lady sings) So, you
may not have time to grow a competition size pumpkin, but you should have
some nice sized ones for halloween.
