I converted the file at the general request of Rocky R. I also
figured others would like to use it. I think most people like to follow
their pumpkins progress in terms of weight rather than inches. Although
the conversion isn't that hard. And it is easier (and less likey to
damage the pumpkin) to just measure the Circumference daily, than the 3
OTT measurements. One could just add the weight estimate to the
original spread sheet. ( i could do this if some one wanted it) -but
then again the circumference weight estimate is not as acurate as the
OTT estimate.
I'm not sure why you couldn't use the OTT and weight to figure watering
or feeding decisions? but I do know that George has A LOT more
experince
and knowledge about growing these pumpkin than I do.
George, thanks for your approval and all your help to everyone else.

Unless the Pumpkin is on a hard flat surface it is difficult to repeat the
measurement accurately. In using circumference you take several measurements
on the largest spot until you get 2 or 3 that match. I just find it better
for tracking growth as a result of feeding watering etc. But not for
estimating weight.
