Kevin,
   Hail damage, although not good, sometimes looks worse than it really is.
The leaves can have holes in them an still produce photosynthate quite well.
As long as the leaves aren't totally gone. If the pumpkin has small pock marks
, they should scab over. Just give the pumpkin a light coating of fungicide.
