Beginners Luck is fun. Fat Boy is still putting on the inches, but not
so quickly. I measured on Friday and came up with 577 lbs from the
chart. The powdery mildew is under control, and the vine is taking over
my driveway and runner is into my garage - it slipped unter the door!
Wht can the sick thing be looking for? Starting today I am ending
growing tips of vines, as you suggested, Brock, a few at a time.
I am just leaving that big ugly pumpkin alone except for spraying weekly
with kelp mixture.
I hope it doesn't crack, 'cuz it sure would be fun to show up at Elk
Grove with a 700 pounder. Meanwhile, this is more fun with less work
than raising teenagers, by far.
