mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Rocky,
I'll be watching on T.V....as you strut up to recieve the highest honor any
pumpkin grower has......40 acres of sandy loam....40,000 tons of cow manure
compost mix.......then you turn your chest to the camaras and it will be
then i will see the "T" and cry with joy for you and me!.........this is
the mighty midget of weigh-offs......and the point you bring up
about...being proud reminds me of our weigh off where most were afraid to
bring their pumpkin for fear of some sort...embarassment sooo we had only
five entries and the top adult div...was 111lbs......this winner came from
someone who was proud of that 100 pounds of pumpkin..........someone that
new they had to start at the bottom but be proud they started...but from a
strange quirk of gonads this Was top Dog.....for the rest of the day i had
to listen to OH MINE WAS BIGGER BUT......but what???........you stepped off
you tried something different.......and because you instantly couldn't play
golf with Tiger Woods you don't show up for the match!!....practice,
practice practice then you can be "Rocky" in a Anderson Valley Tee moving
down by the river.....til then we all just have to swallow a little pride
and work twice as hard............next year.....top growers are the most
empathetic to disasters than you think,,,,,so stand by that 111 and I'll
still cry.................best of luck.....brock.....what its 550...oh rock
