concrete mulch

>Beginners Luck is fun. Fat Boy is still putting on the inches, but not
>so quickly. I measured on Friday and came up with 577 lbs from the
>chart. The powdery mildew is under control, and the vine is taking over
>my driveway and runner is into my garage - it slipped unter the door!
>Wht can the sick thing be looking for? Starting today I am ending
>growing tips of vines, as you suggested, Brock, a few at a time.
>I am just leaving that big ugly pumpkin alone except for spraying weekly
>with kelp mixture.
>I hope it doesn't crack, 'cuz it sure would be fun to show up at Elk
>Grove with a 700 pounder. Meanwhile, this is more fun with less work
>than raising teenagers, by far.

John,

you and Fat boy have become the talk of the town! ..Every cocktail party
,BBQ...meeting,,,,, you and fat boy get mentioned......isn't this game fun
all you have to is ride that wild thing to the end and bring it to a weigh-
off and we will all be picking your brains for your secret technique to add
to the list of the 1000 things we do......allready......here is a good one
was talking to a guy that grew a large pumpkin in a very small plot and
across his concrete patio..........so i am putting 2 and 2 together and
figure that the cement is keeping the ground cool and moist during the day
and absorbing the heat from the sun and radiating it back at
night.........So I tell my buddy I know this guy John, and the cement
theory.........he gets real quiet....then he lets out a whimper and says I
just jack-hammered my patio this spring.......and his plant isn't even
close to his last years.......concrete mulch its the
latest................keep up the good work brock
