Scar gets a face lift

Greetings all,
Well I lost my last really big one yesterday to a blossom end split. Wart was
growing very well in the #827, but didn't hold. I have plugged the hole for
the Oregon State Fair for whats its worth, and now begin planning for next
year. Damn it. Wart was somewhat bigger than Scar now, so it will be
interesting to see what it weighs tonight. Just eyeballing it it looks to be
about 700 pounds.
As for Scar, well he got carved yesterday at the county fair for everyone to
see. I was very happy to see that no rot had started in it yet, which means
my theory worked about captan gas. Every seed that could be harvested was and
they look good. Big fat and juicy. Over 2 32 oz. cups full of seeds. There
will definately be enough for everyone who wanted a few.
Take Care,
Brett
