Congratulations to list member Brett Hester who got a color photo and a
write-up in the Metro section of today's Oregonian newspaper (Oregon's
largest paper with a state-wide distribution network) about his est. 700
lb.. pumpkin named Wart. Wart will be traveling to the Oregon State Fair,
which opens today in the state capital city of Salem, where hopes are that
Wart will set a new Oregon State Fair record, eclipsing Kurt Mombert's
current champion status. (No information as to whether Mombert will have a
contender at this year's fair.)
Again, congratulations Brett for the article, and good luck at the fair.
