Re: Anderson Valley Shirts

Brock,

Over the last week or so I let the patches dry out a little after the
temps cooled down.
I stopped misting and without the mister it dried out on the edges. Well
yesterday I decided the plants were too dry and watered well and nuked
them for a little extra growth. Low and behold I picked up one inch in C
and one each way ott. After talking to Doc last night he talked me into
giving it another squirt this afternoon and we will see what happens
tomorrow.

I tell you I go crazy this time of year. We are having almost perfect
growing temp just a little cool at night but I can live with 59F and 90F
during the day. I think its great that Dave has another big one going. He
was so happy at HMB I think I even saw a tear well up in his eye when he
went up for his award. I would be so jazzed that I would need a whole box
of Kleenex for my big ole beak. We have been chasing that dream for
years and one of these days it will be you and I walking up there to
receive our do. Until then we will watch our man Heilman and Gowen take
the center stage. Maybe we can sneak in through the back door if nobody
is looking. There is so much time and yet can't seem to be at the top
when its all said and done. Well this year could be our year and I will
be glad to place in the GPC at EG. I still haven't placed yet.

If I read Heilman's post right this afternoon you and I must be his fan
club. You gota love it. First time grower and already has his own fan
club. I don't think Chris ever got that cocky. Well he does have the
biggest one I've heard of so far this year so he has every right to
demand respect. If he has done so well as a first year grower look out
next year. He will be kicking butt for years.

Talk about roller coaster man I'm on it. Up and Down in the same five
minutes. I think its time for a cold coors light. Unwind and dream about
inches and pounds.

Jon
P.S. Picked a gunny sack full of corn and give it to the neighbors. I
love this farm stuff. Talk about dinky, you farm 7 acres and I farm a
pumpkin patch now thats rinka dink.
