Steptomycin sulfate is used on apple leves to control blight by a
bacterium, but it must be on before the the bacteria blow in.
It is said the feces of the cucumber beetle infect the tissue they eat
open. Thus, the antibiotic would be be absent. Too expensive, Prob no
effectiveness. Forget antibiotics.
