Cut Harold some slack.  If he's handling 1500 e-mails at a time you need to
give him all the info he needs to respond.  He's the best first source for
info in all the areas that come up.  He also refers you if he does not
know.  Even without the PHD he is becoming a pumpkin Doc as the only one
trying to untangle the genetics.  I also doubt that PHD signature was set
up to impress the people on this list.  Some of us are having problems with
a plant or a fruit,  Harold is losing 100's and a whole seasons genetic
trials.  Next time you don't like his response keep these things in mind,
give what he wants, and don't complain to the list.  If you have to
complain send it to me and I will carefully process it the way I do all my
other unsolicited e-mail.    Roger
