Bear Problems

I don't recall this problem being written up on the internet but my
brother who is growing Atlantic Giants in Bancroft Ontario had his 60
inch pumpkin rolled over by a bear last night and it then took a bite
out of the bottom.  The bear also mauled his larger pumpkin and then ate
approximately 200 pounds of honey out of his beehives.  What next?
