Companies selling tissue tests will not tell the above, but your
university folks will tend to answer as I have above. 
   K+ and PO4--- do not move much in the soil and excess this year is
mostly available next year. However, NO3- is very mobile and the excess
moves into the ground water. Farmers are finding they get better crops
by applying nitrogen throughout the growing season.

  I would seem the above would be plenty of nitrogen, unless someone has
contrary advice. Unless the fertilizer is applied as sodium or chloride
forms, I don't think too much salt will be a problem except when
strongly over fertilized.
