In case some of you on the list are
concerned about y-2-k and your computers here's a message I recieved that looks
like it might solve the problem. At least it's worth a
try.
Double click on "my
computer"
Double click on "control
panel"
Double click on "Regional
settings"
Click on the date tab on the top of the page
Where it says, short date sample look and see if it
shows a two digit year. Of course it does.
Thats the default setting for windows 95, windows
98and NT. This date right here that feeds
application software and WILL NOT roll over to the
year 2000. It will roll over to 00
Click on the button across from
"Short date style", select the option that shows
mm/dd/yyyy
(be sure your selection has four y's showing not just
two.
Then click on "apply" and then click on
"OK" at the bottom
This is simple to try and makes
sense. It should stop the worries ahead of time
Now youcan go back to the patch with hopefully
one less worry
GOOD LUCK
Jack
