Sevin can be used as a bait and not bother the bees. Mix a stronger than
normal batch of Sevin and water. Into the solution add rolled oats or
bran. If your pest has a favorite food add some of it. Keep adding the
oats or bran until the mixture becomes dry enough to not be soggy clumps.
You need to be able to hand broadcast over a large area. This will kill
all the ground insects that live off vegetation. Grasshoppers, Crickets.
I don,t know what the Japanese Beatles eat. Roger
