Re: Cutting Vines Off

Alan

Some people cut of every second secondary, but usually not depending on how
close together they come. If they are closer than I foot apart I would cut
of every second secondary - otherwise not. The best way to explain it is
like this - think of your plant as a tree growing horizontally. The main
vine is the trunk, the secondaries are the branches and the twigs come off
the branches. Cut off the twigs.
Doing it like this you can grow your plant in a Christmas tree shape, which
is great for getting in and around your plant for maintenance etc.
