Korea Pumpkin support

Hello. I am Cho, Seung-Sang who lives in Korea.
I have some question over a PUMPKIN. There is a cousin who are in local
area. He is a farmer. One day he called me to ask that he wanted to
know
the
following thing; After we keep pumpkins during winter, we cut a
pumpkin into haves in spring. From time to time we can find
the seeds of the pumpkin to have sprouted up. Can we know
whether the pumpkin seeds have sprouted up during winter
without pumpkins cut? Can I be answered for this question?
He wanted pumpkins whose seeds in storage during winter have
sprouted up. I wondered that we could find easy ways to let
pumpkin seeds sprouted up during winter by controlling
temperature and moisture of storage. Is there any way to do that?
Is there any difference of the seed which have sprouted up
in the pumpkin during winter and other normal seed?
Thank you.
