SIGNATURE LINES IN AOL E-MAIL
TO ANY LIST MEMBER WHO IS INTERESTED.
A short time ago someone on the list added a question, to their posting,
about adding signature lines in AOL e-mail. I was also curious about this and
contacted, on the telephone, the AOL Customer Help Line for the UK.
I was informed that it is not possible to add signature lines on AOL e-mail
or the senders Name in the Copy To Box. The Customer Services Assistant that
I spoke to informed me that he would put my question forward to the relevant
people and suggest that it should be made possible to include a signature
line and identification name on outgoing e mails.
I was also informed that AOL Version 5.00 is due for launch in the next 30
days and maybe the above could be included. I am far from being knowledgeable
about such technicalities but I thought that the List Members who are on AOL
may be interested to know what I managed to find out.
