it is now official.

As mentioned before The patch at the Carlsons was just about emptied
about 2 weeks ago. I left an area about 16 x 16 covered with what was
left of my 431 plant. See it had about 15 pumpkins on it and they all
were about the size of tennis balls or golfballs. Well, the last one
split out this am and I will be completely pumpkin plantless!! What a
year. can't wait to do it all over again next year!!

PS Yesterday I was out checking over the plant to see if the thing
was healthy and To my amazement I found a SQUASH VINE BORER MOTH. it was
out fluttering around doing it's thing!!! I could not believe it. Hell
it's august 28th for Gods sake. HOW LONG DO THESE THINGS HANG AROUND?? I
thought the first week or so of August and then they were done!!!
