So,what you're saying Steve,is Larry Bird,MichaelJordan, etc shouldn't be
allowed to play in the NBA?.......That they're too good?....That the Army
slogan "Be All That You Can be" really should say" Be Ok,but not too good"?.
A contest is a contest. Everyone out there has access to all this
info...books,email,word of mouth....I know of noone who is unable to get good
seed...all they have to do is ask. Most State fairs that I know of consider
all Maximas to be squash .I have no problem having a catagory for kids but
come on....up on a pedestal are we? Are you THAT good that you shouldn't
compete with "THEM"?(by the way...whats your biggest?)
How 'bout offering the kid a bunch of seeds and a visit or two to teach
him the tricks instead of pitying "them".Have a seed stand w/free packets of
seeds for all new or would be /wannabe growers for next year?Talk about
promoting mediocrity....sheesh!.......Enlighten them,don't pity
them..........Just my humble opinion..........Glenn A.
