Glenn,

Your humble oppinion is a good one ...at least in my humble
oppinion...and surely we shouldn't attackSteve for his......but lets face
it most state fairs are in the dark ages......... and sometimes the judges
they have are also.......its really hard to believe that giant pumpkins
have been around for almost 20 years.......and its now just hitting the
state fairs ...........there just now hearing about it now??.....folks
think that 180lb is huge........this is a great time for those enthused
giant pumpkin growers experienced in a weigh -off or two to lend a
hand,,,,,,,,its like most things a pain in the butt to add to your
schedule......since our schedules are sooo booked......but one thing we
know for sure is our schedules will be booked..heheheh....so screw
it...........help educate......big max and prize winner will run you
small...............try this AG seed!!.......hell I have seen 8 year olds
cry................I cry at 43 when someone brings in a bigger
pumpkin....its part of playing a game...lots of crying!!.....as a people
.....as a group of pumpkin people......i think there runs a special pace a
special philosophy a compation.....a group of people that are taking the
time to slow things down and play a little...and wouldn't hesitate to take
time to help an 8 year old grow a really big pumpkin...........so i think
there no need to fret ........MB
