This will be my last update before the weighoff at Smoky Lake on October
2nd (unless something blows up and I have to do a post-mortem). Growth
is now minimal on both of my pumpkins and the weather here is turning
cooler as we head into September.
The pumpkin on the Sproule measured in at 289 inches OTT today for an
estimated 493 pounds. This is a personal best for me (at least as far
as OTT measures go), and I hope it hangs in there and weighs in over
500.
The pumpkin on the Cramer has almost stopped growing. It measured in at
266 inches OTT today for an estimated 392 pounds. For a while I was
sure it would surpass the Sproule but it won't.

I am expecting some info from Smoky Lake any day now, and I have
permission from the one of the organizers to copy the brochure onto my
web page for anyone who is interested. I will post an update when it
becomes available.
