        Are you sure you meant Sulphur, and not Copper? As I understand it, 
Sulphur will kill Cucumbers, Melons, and Squash. (Pumpkins) I have never used 
Sulphur for this reason. Is it safe on the stem but not the rest of the 
plant? The warning I just posted is taken off my bag of Nutonex, wettable 
Sulpher. I know that some Sulpher in the soil is good because as the roots 
suck it up, it carries Calcium with it. Calcium helps build strong heavy 
rinds on your Pumpkins. Can you tell me how or if you have used Sulpher on 
your Pumpkins.
