Thanks for all the suggestions.

80 degrees means about 26 degrees Celsius (I am from Belgium,
remember...:-))
which is the temperature I "used" to germinate various seeds.

I didn't use light bulbs though. I had this aquarium with let's say, 4
inches of
water in it. The water was heated with an aquarium heater, and the seedling
containers were put above the water line, on some plastic boxes which were
put upside down.

The advantage of this, is that you can control temperature very accurately
with the thermostate of the aquarium heater. Afterwards, you can graduately
lower the temperature to adjust your little plants. The only problem is the
very
high humidity (100%) you create, which can let the roots get rotten and give
all kinds of fungi a paradise to grow in....

Any suggestions ??
