I have been adding Steve Freed's
"Flying and Swimming Pumpkins" (a short music piece) to some of the
seminar tapes
that I have mailed out.
i.e. The California Growers Seminar 2000
and the Pacific Northwest Growers Seminar
2000.
Here is some info on each of these
videos.......
The California Growers Seminar 2000 features
a panel of veteran growers (Pete Glasier,
Jack Vezzolo, Jon Hunt, Mike Brock, Ken
Mitchell, Bob Troy and Doc Pumpkinstien).
They field a variety of questions from the
audience on such topics as watering techniques, seed germination,
fertilizing,
shading, root development, etc. The video
also features the 801.5 Stelts seed being
auctioned off for $250.
A good video for the beginner and
intermediate grower. 1 hour 45 min.
The Pacific Northwest Growers Semnar 2000
features agronomist Don Horneck from
Agri-Check labs going into great detail on
soil analysis. Don fields questions from
heavy hitters Kirk Mombert, Jack and Sherry
LaRue, Paul Handy, Geneva Emmons, Lincoln
Mettler, Pete Glasier, Shellie Cramer, Jon Hunt,
Steve Daletas and Bret Hester.
A fairly technical video that focuses on
soil tests. For the advanced grower.
