Please let me ask a few questions on this subject !!
Say Someone self pollinated the 801.5 Stelts and that pumpkin weighed
between 500 and 900 lb. would that make the seeds of the same WORTH for giant
pumpkins or would it simply be a seed with the potential to eventually put
off a big one like so many other seeds.
Another Question is it seems to me at some point if we took the seeds from
1000+ LB pumpkins and crossed them we have a better chance to break all
records currently held, because they hold the genes that can grow a BIG one.
All the speculation is gone (the mother and father each over 1000lbs) it has
been done and looks like if you use those seeds it can be done again.
But that is TOOOOOO OBVIOUS and I'm sure has been tried a thousand
times. Why does this not work ?????
