kathie, does the ag pumpkin cook up good or is it watery or stringy?
just curious. i've always used squash in my pies. deb
Deb, it cooked up watery and stringy. I let it set a couple of days
after baking it and poured off the extra liquid about every 6 hours. The
stringy is not a problem, since I throw all the ingredients into the
blender and beat them to a bloody pulp. With my AG, I then used an est.
50-50 mixture of punkin and yam and the resulting pies turned out just
fine.
