Dear Sharon

Ok first we raised almost 4000.00 on just a pumpkin seed auction we held it last Sunday night. There were 30 to 40 growers involved and the come from as far as Ontario, Germany, New York, California, Florida, Ohio, all over the world. If you can go to this web site (http://www.hort.net/lists//pumpkins/) and read some of late Nov and early Dec posts about Barb you will see how Pumpkin Growers from all over the world can get together and help out complete strangers. Also you will find a very large group of people that try to grow the world largest pumpkin and do everything they can to help others do the same even thou we compete against each other. To see what was raised just from seed auctions you can go to the Pennsylvania Giant Pumpkin Grower's Association page and see the results and learn more about Barb.(http://www.ipga.ws/Barb%20Kincaid%20Memorial%20Auction.htm)The best thing of all is these people don't really know one and other except thru growing Giant pumpkins. The world record has been broken 4 times in the last 2 years and a lady in Washington hold the record of 1262.5 pounds. Here is a list of growers that help make all this happen.

I am sure if you get to talk with anyone who grows Atlantic Giant Pumpkins you will learn that their no nicer people in the world. Mr.. Rockwell was preparing the auction and may not of had time to respond I will forward your email to the pumpkin list and we will see how many respond to you

Thank you for at least looking into this I was overwhelmed with it when I saw just how much support was given to someone most of us never met. One more thing some of the growers have been on Good Morning America, Letterman and a few other shows
