Re: German Growers Arise!
Michel, $1200 US is allot of money. I grew a state record in 2000. The
first prize money was $500. My kids and I were more excited about growing
such a big pumpkin than the first prize money. If it was all about money,
I don't think you would have as many growers and you certainly wouldn't have
the comradery that pumpkins growers have today. My friend beat my state
record this year and I was so excited for him. Now it makes me shoot for
higher goals in 2002.
