Re: Hybrid Theory
Marc & all
Rookie that I am, I have learned a ton from this discussion. In fact, it finally gave me some direction for next season... I have space for 4 plants and this has helped me solidify my goals for those plants.
The "experiment" sounds intriguing. Mightn't there be a member of the Atlantic Giant Genetics Cooperative who could collect the seed and post applications on the website for willing participants, choosing those who met the AGGC's criteria for such an experiment?
sounds like this experiment would really put to rest some questionmarks...

Mike and everyone;
Very interesting points and comments from everyone's postings. Perhaps in a
few years, we might re visit this topic once again, and evaluate what happens
to today's seed genetics. Thanks for your input and thoughts Mike, and thanks
for the irreplaceable AGGC informational database, which I do not know what
I'd do without.
Those interested in trying to do a controlled experiment on genetics as we
discussed, I encourage the idea, and will help out with whatever I can. The
project depends on how many growers actually are interested, and willing to
participate. I'm not the one to get the ball rolling on this kind of thing,
I'm in charge of doing and helping those with the clone research...LOL.
Happy holidays to everyone....
Marc
