Green and True Green?

I am a little confused here. What is the difference between green and
"true green?" Have I missed something?
Happy New Year everyone.

Since it's been almost a week since I last embarrassed myself on the
internet, let me treat this as a trivia contest and suggest an answer:
TRUE GREEN is green, green as cedar foliage, zucchini, cooked spinach.
GREEN is merely too green to qualify as a pumpkin and therefore
disqualified as being a squash.
Happy New Year to you all! Poetry contest closes at midnight TONIGHT.
