Re: E-Bay Seed Sale

My fear is that there might be those that join, yet never post, at these pumpkin message boards and learn just enough about certain seeds (which are "hot", some basic genetic lineage information, etc.) to become dangerous. With a little bit of knowledge, a computer, and common seed, a person could really do some damage to an unsuspecting grower looking to score big.

Lubadub@aol.com wrote:The bidding on E-Bay for the "seed packet" ended last night and the winning
bid was just over $1200. Since bids are more or less made anonymously, the
winner is as yet unknown. I am wondering now how many people will begin to collect
seeds so they can later sell them at a significant profit? There seems to be
a change in the pumpkin growing world. It definitely is getting different.
