Re: Groundhogs


Thanks Glen, entertaining reading, but in my humble
opinion the info contained at that site is mere
child's-play.  I, after many years of battling the
hogs have found THE answer (sorry fellow southerners,
no guns needed).  
Sprinkle a little Red Devil Lye around their hole (now
is a good time of year to find their holes).  The
first time they come out, they're walk through it.  It
will start to sting their feet a little.  Then they'll
lick their feet to soothe the stinging.  The next time
there'll be any signs of him will be the sweet smell
of success emanating from their nest (hole).  And, as
an added benefit, any hole with a dead groundhog in
it, will not be taken over by new marauding
youngsters.  My Christmas gift to you.  Happy hunting.
