Hi:
I'm hoping you can help me. My husband is a member of your pumpkin
email list. He mentioned a pumpkin CD that he wants for Christmas and
while he is away from his desk I'm going through 255 messages from
different members to try to find this but I can't and I'm running out of
time as he'll be back soon. Do you know what CD he's referring to and
if so, where might I get it (quickly)? Please don't hit reply. Please
reply to my personal email at cgasp@vermontel.net. Thank you so much.

There are many ways to recover/store seeds but here's how we do it.
Aggressively agitate in a 5% bleach/water solution removing all pulp.
Leave
the "skins".
Spread seeds so they aren't touching each other.
Cookie sheets, window screens, wax or news papers are all adequate.
Let sit away from mice, squirrels, or other hungry/curious critters.
A fan or dehumidifier will speed drying. Two - three weeks should
suffice.
The "skins" will loosen up when the seeds are finished drying.
Some folks prefer to use food dehydrating devices.
Avoid using heated devices to hasten drying.
Place dried seeds into properly labeled coin envelopes for distribution.
Store bulk quantities in mason jars in a freezer for maximum longevity.
