Just to wish you all a happy weekend. Fred is going into turbo and the
main runner has grown a foot in about two days. Wilma's runner is
growing in girth and is about three times fatter than Fred's (perhaps I
should swap names!!).

Is this indicative that Wilma will grow a bigger pumpkin???

A warm weekend forecast - about mid twenties, that'll do me I think. A
special hello to my Australian friends (sorry about the jokes Tony). I
pray your bush fires are no more and the only heat is between us growing
the biggest pupkin (which NZ will do now that Tracey and Jabba are on
the job, not to mention the 200+Taranaki growers). My Anderson 875 has
appeared and it took almost three weeks to sprout a radical. I almost
gave up. It may well do for a pollinator - it is almost time to unleash
my secret weapon.
