Hi Marv (and everyone else... Duncan? Al Eaton? George Brooks?),

I wonder if you could enlighten us about GPC rules for pumpkin
 records?

Joe Mills (yeah, Zoo-Doo, who couldn't cope with the cyberness of it
all) is distraught. As he understands it, he can't claim the D.C.
record because he LIVES in Virginia, even though his pumpkin was grown
in D.C. I believe a number of people on the list have growing sites
that are not adjacent to their homes... what happens to those of us
whose growing site is across a state line? I live in Virginia and
work in Maryland and had considered looking for a spot near my office.
So then where would the pumpkin reside, officially??

We would appreciate any clarification you can provide.

 Thanks,
 Beth Rado

It is my understanding it is where it is grown.
