Al, Richard,John,
All your thoughts make good sense and are somewhat related to
tempeture...for years i have wanted to cover my plants in Sept. as the
temps get as low as 40. Then during the day the temps rise to 90. So i"d
feel like a yo-yo up down.....I am beginning to think that tempeture plays
a huge role in the growing processes of the plant..as many have seen
better results when they warm water and apply.......another thing i am
curious about is soil temp during the later months I wonder if the soil
gets warmed in the day when those monster leaves shade the patch.....and
then the night temps are so low......I will take the temp. this season an
see what soil temps are during different months....Controling the climate
is a bit like trying the hold back the tide would be a hellacious task but
when you think of 2inches a day in Sept and getting ahead of the infamous
Chris Andersen down there in Moraga with his warmer nights the deed has to
be done.....Brock as in Mike
