My two plants were close to together and I cut one off close to the ground
managing to cut mostly roots. I wouldn't pull it out.
Earlier in the year there was some discussion on which plant to save and the
recommendation was to save the one which has the shiniest leaves. This
probably doesn't help. Save the best looking one.
I would give them a drink every day at first; especially if the weather is
hot and dry like here; although others may disagree.
