mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

once your pumpkin is set on the main vine let the main continue to grow for a
while..........growers trim and prune anything that looks like it will get in
the way......of the pumpkin.............most trim off the secondary vine that
is adjacent to the main and stem.....................make sure that the tap
roots that are sent down at each leaf junction are severed near the pumpkin
so as the pumpkin grows that section of vine 3-4ft close to the pumpkin will
be loose and able to rise with the growth of the pumpkin................moving
the pumpkin should be done very slowly just a tiny bit at a time.......I like
to move them every other day as to give a day of rest and
adjustment..............just go slow...............watch the stem and vine in
the crotch for cracking...........if it is cracking back off a
while....................brock
